The name Brise came from ‘breeze’ – a ‘soft wind’ for sailing…. for low pressure control.
The Brise Plus Series is known for its high flow capacity and excellent outlet pressure accuracy. It was designed with balanced internals assuring stability of pressure control even in the case of inlet pressure variation.
The way we have constructed the body allows us to incorporate an independent slam shut valve for overpressure shutoff, resulting in a final product that displays not only excellent performance and safety but can reduce the footprint of your installation. Depending on the application some fluctuations in flow rate can be seen during duty; The Brise Plus Series however is easily capable of fast response, assuring that the gas will be delivered without variation of set pressure.
The Brise N is a sprung diaphragm, direct acting pressure regulator designed to work along low set pressures and high gas flow capacity in distribution and commercial applications. One of the main industrial applications is the control of gas burners, which demand fast responses, even in varying high flow conditions. Normally in these cases they are controlled by solenoid valves so a fast reacting regulator is required.
The Brise N pressure regulator has an internal balanced valve allowing low lock up even with high inlet pressure variations, so it can be used with natural gas, LPG and other kinds of non-corrosive gases.
This regulator was developed with ease of maintenance in mind and in fact parts can be replaced while the valve remains in service. This is due to its top entry design, making it unnecessary to take the regulator out of the pipeline for maintenance.
