FT Pipeline Systems Gas Division Showcases Gascat at a Host of Events

FT Pipeline Systems Gas Division has been proud to showcase the world-leading Gascat gas products at a variety of events over recent weeks. With a proven track record of zero failures, Gascat’s strong heritage sees the products being successfully used across five continents today and they are widely considered the gold standard for gas regulators and equipment. In fact, parts of northern Europe have been using almost exclusively Gascat regulators for ten years.

Some of the events FT Pipeline Systems has recently exhibited at, or taken part in, include:

• UK trade mission to Spain: The Basque regional government was extremely interested to find out more about our range of gas regulators, control valves, slam shuts and governors. As a result, Andy Fraser, Director of FT Pipeline Systems Gas Division, was invited to take part in a UK trade mission to Bilbao in northern Spain and had the opportunity to run through our innovations in the low to high gas pressure sector, along with the latest developments in our range of hydrogen regulators. Spain is the fifth largest economy in the EU and now one of the fastest growing in the eurozone. We look forward to developing customer relationships over there in the coming months.

• NZIP, Government event in London: The UK government is investing over £4 billion between 2022 and 2025 to help develop the next generation of technologies and solutions needed to deliver the UK’s net zero target and to support innovative UK businesses to benefit from the growing global green economy. FTPS is delighted to be part of this framework and is involved in a number of schemes using hydrogen instead of natural gas. Andy Fraser’s presentation outlining the variety of schemes being worked on, all using the world-leading Gascat gas regulators, was well received by approximately 50 attendees.

• IGEM annual conference 2023 in Nottingham: This highly anticipated event focused on energy transition and in particular, the safety and security of the natural gas network with a focus on the physical safety of the network.
